Bhí na cailíní ag obair go dían i ngrúpaí beaga ar an dtopaic 'Réamhaisnéis na hAimsire' ar feadh coicíse. Rinne siad jab iontach! 5th Class girls had the honour of singing at Confirmation for the 6th class girls on 5th March. The choir had been practising for weeks and were in fine tune on Confirmation Day. They really enjoyed learning about the Confirmation Ceremony and participating in such a meaningful way in the mass. The 5th class would like to thank the 6th class teachers Mrs Mc Cartan, Ms Brodigan and Ms Kirwan for their help and guidance in preparing for this special day. They are looking forward to next year, when they will receive the sacrament of Confirmation themselves. Well Done girls.
Well done to all the girls from 5th class who competed in our school round of the Eason's Spelling Bee Competition last week. It was a tough contest with all the girls from 5th and 6th classes competing. It was a nail-biting finish, with Katie from our very own 5th class getting the award of school champion. Katie will now go on and represent our school in the County Final. We wish you the best of luck Katie!
